General Terms and Conditions for Participation at Clinics and Courses held by Riesenbeck International

 

1. Application

a) Participants may only register using the provided online registration form. The registration will become legally binding when confirmed by Riesenbeck International in writing or via e-mail. If the number of participants is limited, registrations will be dealt with by order of applications received. The online registration form applies to one person only.

b) Participation is guaranteed when payment has been received by Riesenbeck International in full and on due date.

c) Starting dates and duration of courses/clinics are published on the website. The dates and times given by written confirmation are obligatory. 

 

2. General Requirements for Participation

a) For participation the general requirements of the General Terms and Conditions of Riesenbeck International apply. Additional requirements stated in the course/clinic descriptions are binding. Upon request and in special cases exceptions may be granted by Riesenbeck International.

b) Minors can attend courses/clinics only with the consent of their parental/legal guardians. At the point of registration the parental/legal guardians need to ensure that they comply with the duties of supervision. Additionally they submit a written statement releasing Riesenbeck International from duty of supervision. All application must be signed by parental/legal guardians concerned.

Any necessary medical treatment can be arranged after duly assessment, if parental/legal guardians consent cannot be obtained in time. In case of emergency underage participants will be treated with medical care and parental/legal guardians will be informed immediately. In the case of minors falling ill or showing symptoms of contagious disease parental/legal guardians are obliged to take care of collection as soon as possible and within 24 hours at latest.

 

3. Payment of Participation Fee and Condition of Cancellation

a) Participation fee is indicated on the registration from and is payable latest three weeks prior to the start of the course/clinic. An invoice will be issued upon online written registration.

b) Cancellations must be sent in writing. Participation may be cancelled up to three weeks prior to the start of the course/clinic, whereby Riesenbeck International will charge an administration fee of 10% of participation fee.

c) Full participation fee will be charged for cancellations received later than three weeks before start of the course/clinic. Upon request and with consent of Riesenbeck International nomination of a substitute is possible should the registered person not be able to attend.

e) In the event of Riesenbeck International having to cancel due to lack of numbers of participants or other reasons, notice will be duly given no later than two weeks prior to the start of the programme and participation fee will be fully refunded. Riesenbeck International is not responsible for reimbursement of cost for travel and accommodation, nor loss of wages, unless such costs are incurred as result of wantonly negligence by Riesenbeck International.

 

4. General Terms

a) Any changes and/or agreements are only valid if they are in written form.

b) German law will apply. The sole jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Rheine.

c) Should individual contract agreements with the participant including these general terms and conditions be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of other regulations remains unaltered.

d) By registering for a course/clinic, participants agree that Riesenbeck International is solely responsible for saving and processing his or her data and fully complies with the Federal Data Protection Act. The data (comprised of participant’s name, telephone and electronic contact info, business/billing address) is used for accounting and billing purposes, as well as for informing the participants about future events.

e) Riesenbeck International reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
