Three Disciplines – One Show! Equestrian Sport of its best in Riesenbeck

On our big summer event Riesenbeck International 2019 (from 21st – 23rd June) three international disciplines of show jumping, dressage and driving meet again at the beautiful facilities at the Surenburg. From Friday morning until Sunday afternoon there is equestrian sport at its best plus diverse and attractive side show. All this with free admission!


Naturally the focus of the event, which are organised by host Ludger Beerbaum and his team, is on show jumping. Besides the previous year’s winner Gerritt Nieberg and his brother Max, who will travel from nearby Münster, there are altogether 18 Nations present. Riders can collect World Ranking Points and show their 6-7-year-old youngster the big main grass arena. For the regional riders the Sparkassen Team Challenge on four ascending levels is on offer.


Traditionally the main attraction for visitors is the 4-in-hand coaches and their German Championship. Germany’s top class riders, like Mareike Harm, Georg von Stein, Christoph Sandmann and his daughter Anna and many more, have announced their coming. One overseas participant is particularly welcomed: Chester Weber (USA), team gold medal winner and silver medallist at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon last year.

Next to dressage, marathon and cones, the 4-in-hand fight for the German Driving Derby. Therefore, the 4-in-Hand have an additional class on Friday night under floodlight in the big main stadium.

 

In the dressage event arena, the under 25-year-old recommend themselves for the upcoming European Championship. Additionally, riders can compete in the small tour under perfect conditions. And the offer for the regional dressage riders is a Pas de Deux on Saturday evening.


The Academy-Ring will offer even more attractive side show this year. Author Anja Stroot will present her books with children detective stories. Imke Schlömer will give valuable tipps and tricks for the riding seat and those who were lucky to win two spots in Imkes presentation will learn in a practical demonstration on Friday.


The Dutch Team of Eva Roemaat and Jesse Drent, who are known Influencer, present their ponies with various and amazing acts like they have successfully done last year.


Horse health is most important. Therefore, Conni Fritz, head of Ludger Beerbaum Produkte GmbH, will talk on issues like feeding and keeping and its importance for general wellbeing and health. On Saturday the vice championess in Dogfrisbee, Susanne Hoffrogge, will demonstrate her ability in a promising and dynamic presentation. Afterwards visitors have the chance of a short training sessions themselves.
