Dressage in Riesenbeck

At the end of March, the show jumpers will clear the indoor arena and make room the dressage horses and riders.

On Sunday, March 22nd, a test of choice with Liselotte Ehbrecht will start as the first dressage event. The 20 m x 40 m test arena will be set up in the morning from around 9 a.m. and expanded to the 20 m x 60 m arena at around 1 p.m. The dressage riders can ride a test of their choice and, after judging by the judge, can repeat parts of the test if necessary. A written protocol helps to complete the subsequent training at home. We are happy about the great response from the dressage riders - we already have a waiting list.

Since the test of choice was quickly booked up, the late entry starts with an afternoon of training. On Monday, March 23rd, before the show, we will offer open training from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to prepare for the show or for a change in winter work. The riders share the arena with a maximum of two other riders in half-hour sections. You can bring your own trainer. The training fee is € 15. Registration for the training at: Katharina Wieneke - wieneke@riesenbeck-international.com

On Tuesday, March 24th, the dressage late entry will start with dressage tests in classes M * (on bridle) and S *. Judges on Tuesday are Peter Mannheims and Stefan Steinkemper. On Wednesday, March 25th, a Grand Prix de Dressage will take place after the dressage tests in classes L and M. Michael Settertobulte judges both dressage horse tests with Jürgen Uthoff and the Grand Prix with Peter Mannheims and Heinrich Plaas-Beisemann. The Grand Prix was supplemented due to the great demand.

In addition to these great dressage events, we take a look at June: The Riesenbeck Dressage Days from 18-21. June 2020, the young German riders in the CDIU25 are offered great conditions for their scouting preceeding the European Championships. In addition, there is a CDI2 * with two tours. The small tour offers a Prix St. Georges and Intermediate I and the large tour rounds off the program with Intermediate II and Grand Prix. Attention: This year we want to offer the Pas de Deux at the L level for the national riders again.
