Three Days of Sport, Entertainment, Culinary Delights and Crossing Fingers for the German Football Team at Riesenbeck International

This weekend is very busy at the big show grounds in Riesenbeck: from Friday morning until Sunday afternoon international equestrian sport is the main focus. There will be 27 classes in three disciplines of show jumping, dressage and coach driving.

Visitors can stroll from class to class without paying any entrance fee. And on their way between the competition areas, 68 exhibitors present new trends for gardening and leisure time. At the Event Plaza there will be live music and enough room to relax and enjoy some drinks and good meals.

At very short notice, two famous brothers announce their coming: Betram Allen, European Team Champion from Ireland is accompanied by his “little” brother Harry.

Entertainment for the kids is cared for: Friday (3 and 6 pm) and Saturday (10.30 am and 2 pm) a very nice and in social media very popular team from Holland, Nalanta, will present their tricktraining with their ponies.

On Saturday (1 pm) and Sunday (11 am) foals from the Westfalian Pferdestammbuch will be presented and finally auctioned on Sunday (2 pm).

The German football team will be the centre of attention for 90 min on Saturday 8 pm. Their group game against Sweden from the Football World Championship from Russia will be broadcasted live on the big screen at the Event Plaza. And straight away after the football game is over, the Medium Tour final will take place under floodlight in the main grass stadium.

The dressage riders have their highlight on Sunday (12.30 pm) with their CDI U25 free style. But undoubtedly the focus of all show jumpers is the “Grand Prix of Surenbug – in Memoriam of Baron Constantin Heereman” on Sunday (3 pm) in the main stadium.

Below you will find the full timetable, giving you an overview over all what will happen throughout these exciting three days.
