The 9 young riders of the Junior Equestrian Training Squad (JETS) started their stay in Riesenbeck with a guided tour of the Riesenbeck International facility and a tour through the Ludger Beerbaum Stables. Seven riders worked on their riding skills in the course on horses from the Beerbaum stables, while two riders went to Ibbenbüren to the stable of Daniel Ramseier and received dressage lessons there.

But also fitness and seat training for the riders with physiotherapist Imke Schlömer were on the agenda. First they practiced on the ground and then the exercises were done on the horse. Maud Rosendaal, a rider in Ludgers stable, took time to talk to the young riders about their careers and everyday life in a professional jumping stable. The JETS group was very interested and asked many questions.

Additionally a trip to the CHIO Aachen was offered, where the riders could watch their idols in the competitions and cheer them on.

Finally, the riders showed in a jumping course or a dressage competition, which was filmed and commented, what they learned during the week. Perfectly prepared, the riders went to the National Youth Games in China.
