In honour of Baron Constantin Heereman, how sadly died last year, one of the highlight of the equestrian event in Riesenbeck (22-25 June) will be named: “The Grand Prix of Surenburg – in memoriam of Baron Constantin Heereman.”
With this the memory of a great horseman is kept alive. Baron Constantin was a big part of all the events in and around Riesenbeck and Surenburg and his last public appearance was on the show in June. There he congratulated the winner Chloe Reid.


The show, which offers with free entrance and top international equestrian sport in three disciplines: 4-in-Hand driving, show jumping and dressage. Especially the drivers like it here in Riesenbeck. And World Champion Boyd Exell has announced his coming as one of the first drivers. For him and for all the others, Riesenbeck is an important show before the Nations Cups and the World Championship in Tryon (USA) in September.


“Our strategy is to plan that there will be no idle time. Three disciplines will keep all show arenas busy at all times. Therefore, visitors will find equestrian sport throughout the day and even at night under floodlight,” says event organiser Karsten Lütteken.


New for little visitors: there will be pony demonstration where kids can actively take part and learn to train a pony.


The exhibition with 68 exhibitors will off ideal shopping opportunity around life-style, sport and gardening. New this year is a Street-Food-Area where different food and treats are offered.


Entertainment as part of the event consists of life music on a stage and a big screen, where on Saturday evening the football game Germany-Sweden is broadcasted life.
