Before Riesenbeck International takes a short Christmas break at the end of December, riders and equestrian fans from the region can look forward to several highlights during the pre-Christmas season. Two CSI** events as well as two national competition days are on the schedule in the coming weeks.
The Advent season will begin with a CSI** from 26–29 November. More than 100 riders from Germany and abroad will travel to the Surenburg with over 300 horses for the first festive international show of the season. Visitors can look forward to exciting show jumping sport in a pre-Christmas atmosphere. The Grand Prix of Riesenbeck on Saturday afternoon will round off the competition weekend.
After just one week’s break, the final CSI** of the year will follow. From 9–13 December, we look forward to celebrating the conclusion of the international competition season in Riesenbeck. Traditionally, the final CSI** of the year also hosts the Sparkassen Team Challenge. Teams from the region will compete against one another in a thrilling team competition in a festive atmosphere on Friday evening, 12 December. Twelve teams, each consisting of four riders, will compete in A*-, L-, M*- and S*-level classes, with fantastic prizes awaiting the best teams.
Visitors and accompanying fans are invited to enjoy mulled wine at the Ludgers Bar. The second CSI** weekend will also conclude with the Grand Prix of Riesenbeck on Saturday afternoon.
Equestrian fans are warmly invited to enjoy the atmosphere in Riesenbeck and welcome the Advent season with a cup of mulled wine. Admission is free on all days – we look forward to your visit!
