From October 1st to 4th, Riesenbeck International opened the indoor season with a CSI**. Over 100 riders and around 300 horses were on site, ensuring four days of top-class sport.
Ciaran Nallon already impressed on Thursday with Ogana Sitte Sr in the Youngster Tour presented by FUNDIS Reitsport. With a lead of over three seconds ahead of second-placed Michel Brosswitz, the pair secured victory. On Friday, in the final of the tour, the pair did it again! Thanks to a fast and faultless round, they took first place here too. Philipp Weishaupt with Unique 138 and Felix Haßmann with Cézanne GD took second and third place.
Ciaran Nallon was also successful in the Large Tour over 145 cm on Thursday, securing victory in the fault/time competition with Casalla Blue Ps.
In the Light Tour, Joy Anna Meinicke impressed twice with Touman. She won the 120 cm class on Friday and the 125 cm final on Saturday.
The sporting highlight of the show was the GRAND PRIX OF RIESENBECK on Saturday evening – a jumping competition with a jump-off over 145 cm. Of the eleven pairs that completed the course without faults, five remained faultless in the jump-off. Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking and Pepina G rode a fast and faultless round to secure victory in the Grand Prix. Zascha Nygaard with Com'On Coffee Ps and Philipp Battermann-Voss with Caddel S took second and third place.
