Second consecutive stage victory for Team Riesenbeck International

June 19. 2026

In the third week in France, the Global Champions League made a stop in the capital city. In Paris, right at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, Maximilian Weishaupt with Zuccero HV and Marco Kutscher with Pikeur Lemar NRW started in the first round on Friday evening. Both combinations delivered confident, clear rounds for Team Riesenbeck International, securing qualification for the decisive Top Ten round in second place. Only Team Valkenswaard United also remained on a zero score and ranked ahead of Riesenbeck due to a faster time.

As the only team in the second round, Riesenbeck made no changes to either riders or horses. This consistency proved to be the key to success: in the decisive round, both Weishaupt and Kutscher once again produced clear performances and moved into the lead. Only Team Valkenswaard United still had a chance to challenge Riesenbeck for victory, but after collecting twelve penalty points across their two rounds, they dropped to sixth place. As a result, Team Riesenbeck International secured its second consecutive stage victory and, following its win in St. Tropez, once again stood on top of the podium in Paris. With only one stage remaining before their home event in Riesenbeck, the team now leads the overall Global Champions League standings.

Team manager Ludger Beerbaum was understandably delighted:

“Wow, that was undoubtedly a world-class performance. Incredible quality, precision, and accuracy, executed almost perfectly. It paid off to be the only team to rely on the same horses in the second round and to trust in consistency.”
