Successful start to the outdoor season: First Outdoor CSI** in Riesenbeck
The CSI** from March 21st to 24th marked a fantastic beginning to this year's outdoor season. Despite inconsistent weather conditions, the participants could present their horses under perfect conditions in the spacious sand arena. Full starter fields and top-class participants made for an exciting weekend.
In the 145cm Longines Ranking Class on Thursday afternoon, Jennifer Pedersen triumphed on Catdaddy (DEN), closely followed by Johannes Ehning (GER) and Maren Hoffmann (GER). Ciaran Nallon (IRL) from Beerbaum Stables secured victory in the Youngster Tour Final on Sunday riding Commiltano E. The highlight of the weekend was the Grand Prix of Riesenbeck on Sunday afternoon. With a clear round in 37.52 seconds, Michael Greeve (NED) secured victory on the 9-year-old Diarado offspring Denver. Marcus Ehning on Flower Girl (0/38.02) and Antonia Locker with Cristobal (0/38.26) followed in second and third place.
The next event will be the first Outdoor Late Entry of the year on April 16th and 17th, followed by a CSI** on our large grass arena from April 30th to May 3rd, marking the official start to the green season.
