Successful Pony Show at Riesenbeck International

 

From March 8th to 11th, Riesenbeck International was all about ponies and young riders. In show jumping classes ranging from 80cm to 135cm, young, talented riders showcased their skills and delivered thrilling rides.

The tournament kicked off on Friday with competitions in the A*, L, and M* categories, where Malte Merschformann ended the first day with victories in the L and M* classes.

Saturday started with the 80cm class, won by Meliha Lübcke-Kara. This was followed by competitions from A** to M**, including the qualifying rounds for the Bundesnachwuchschampionat. Ava Ferch and Cookie Dough (WN: 9.4), as well as Luise Konle with Luv (WN: 9.2), claimed victory in these rounds.

Saturday evening featured the Pony Team Trophy, where 16 teams of three riders each competed in an 80cm, A*-level and L-level class. The team "Simply the Best," with riders Hannah Luise Enger, Mia Müller, and Antonia Häsler took the win in this class.

After Oskar Konle and Leni Hartmann's wins in the Novice Tours on Sunday morning, the final rounds of the Junior Championship took place. Ava Ferch secured first place in the Pony Jumping Class M* with top scores of 9.2 and 9.8, riding Cookie Dough. Malte Merschformann with My Sunshine SG and Luna Zoe Schröder with Sweet Don claimed second and third places. In the final of the HGW Bundesnachwuchschampionat, a Style Jumping Class M** with horse changes, Tony Stormanns secured victory, followed by Ava Ferch in second place and Max Merschformann in third.
